ST Jude Ntungamo Junior School was officially established in 2011 by Mr. BIRIYO Godred, a visionary educator and the former Director and Head Teacher of Ntungamo High School. Driven by a passion for providing quality education and a nurturing environment for young learners, Mr. Biriyo, also known as Musayansa, embarked on this significant endeavor. He is happily married to Mrs. Tushabomwe Clare, and they are blessed with four children.
The school received its operational license in 2012 and was officially registered by the Ministry of Education and Sports on February 3, 2015, under the registration number PPS/S/412.
Strategically located near Kyangara Trading Centre, along the main highway to Rukungiri, the school is conveniently situated just 6 kilometers from Ntungamo Town. As a privately owned institution, ST Jude Ntungamo Junior School offers a co-educational learning experience for both day and boarding students.
Initially, the school catered to students from Baby Class up to Primary Three, following its establishment on the acquired land. With each passing year, the school expanded its academic offerings, culminating in the presentation of its first cohort of Primary Seven candidates in 2014.
